Meet our partners

Local partnership as one of our core principles

Teach A Man To Fish works with local partner organisations in a number of countries implementing educational projects which have the capacity to become self-funding within a short to medium time scale. Our programmes are led by our Southern partners, with our contribution focused on training & capacity building, particularly in the areas of project design & administration, business planning & management, entrepreneurial & experiential education and monitoring & evaluation. We are committed to local ownership - we are here to support our Partners, not to tell them what to do!

We are proud to cooperate with:

Fundación Paraguaya

The Fundación Paraguaya de Cooperación y Desarrollo (Paraguayan Foundation for Cooperation and Development) is now the largest and most internationally-recognised NGO in Paraguay and a sister organisation of Teach A Man To Fish. Foundation's pioneering work cuts across the fields of education and microfinance with programs supporting the development and needs of entrepreneurs from the classroom to the workplace. Since 1985 when it was founded, it has contributed to the creation of more than 36 thousand new jobs, providing management training to more than 68 thousand people and granting more than 338,000 loans.

It was the Fundacion that created the flagship San Francisco School, a financially sustainable school for rural entrepreneurs, and which gave birth to the Education That Pays For Itself concept. To find out more about our school in Paraguay, click here.

The Saville Foundation

A core Teach A Man To Fish partner at the organisational level, The Saville Foundation has worked closely with us in promoting sustainable relevant education through the Pan-African Awards for Entrepreneurship in Education, the School Enterprise Challenge, development of the School In A Box Guide Series and Education That Pays For Itself conferences.
