INGREDIENTS
• 3 bags of flour (preferably Maize, but if unavailable any regular flour will do)
• Water (Add as needed)
PREPARATION
Generously dust a flat cutting board or other flat surface. Dust your hands with flour and dust another surface where you can place the rolled out Tortillas. Pour 1/3 of a bag of flour into a mixing bowl and add 3 tablespoons of water. Begin to knead the mixture. Add more water until a firm, doughy texture is achieved. You can always add more flour as you go along.
Take about two golf balls worth of dough and roll out into a flat, thin (between 0.5 and 1 cm) circle. Heat up a large flat pan and lightly dust. Place the Tortilla onto the pan and cook for about 1 minute on both sides, until small bubbles appear on the Tortilla. The quantities stated above should make approximately 30-35 Tortillas.
