Registration Deadline
The deadline for registration AND PAYMENT is November 20th 2009, however the conference is limited to a maximum of 100 participants which with places allocated on a first come, first served basis. To avoid disappointment you are strongly advised to book and pay for your place as soon as possible!

*These rates are only valid if payment is made before the August 31 deadline.
Note 1: Registration fees must be paid immediately after submitting your registration form. If we have not received your payment within 10 days of receiving your registration details we will not be able to guarantee you a place at the conference.
Note 2: Transport to/from conference venue and accomodation are not covered within the conference fee, but you will be able to book these as part of the registration process. All meals included in the conference program and the canoe rides to/from the Yachana Lodge are included within the price of your accommodation. When making your registration, please do not forget that, due to the remoteness of this year's conference venue, participants will need to arrive in Quito on Decemebr 6th and leave Quito on December 12th.

Making Your Payment
The DEADLINE FOR PAYING your conference fee is November 20th
Payment of registration fees, accommodation and travel costs can be paid:
i) by credit card in USD (United States Dollars) via the Teach A Man To Fish website - click on the "Donate online now" button.
Note: To avoid your payment being treated as a general donation to Teach A Man To Fish, please make sure you select 'Education That Pays For Itself Conference 2009' from the drop-down menu in the 'Additional Details Section'
ii) by direct bank transfer* to the following accounts:
*Note: Participants wishing to pay by direct bank transfer will be responsible for paying both the recipient (20 USD) and the remitter's bank charges. Please make sure you enclose a note specifying that your payment is for Education That Pays For Itself 2009. Confirm your payment by emailing the Conference Manager.
Note: Courier services are not able to deliver to PO Box numbers, hence this option is not recommended for participants living outside the U.S. Teach A Man To Fish and Yachana accept no responsibility for checks which are lost in the post.
Payment upon Arrival :
For registered delegates who have chosen to pay part of their accommodation & travel costs on arrival, payment using cash (USD) or by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex) will be possible. Such payments must be done on Monday 7th as soon as participants arrive to Yachana Lodge. Note: Payments made on arrival via Visa or MasterCard will be subject to an additional 5% processing fee.

An e-mail confirmation of registration and successful payment will be sent to the email address entered on the form.
Changing Your Details or Cancelling your registration

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests received in writing (via mail or e-mail) before October 10, 2009 will be refunded 100% less a USD 50.00 processing fee. For cancellations received after this date the registration payment will not be refunded, however a part refund of any advance accommodation or travel payments made will be possible (minus transfer costs).
Grants & Bursaries
TeachAManToFish is unable to provide grants or bursaries to delegates or presenters for travel or accommodation. We encourage you to seek funding from other sources.

Belgian Development Cooperation - Travel grants for subsidising participation in international conferences by representatives from low-income countries (travel and accommodation expenses).
