Thining seedlingsOCEAN SAFARI
Monday 17th November: 10.30am – 8pm
10h30am Depart Karatara by bus and travel to Plettenberg Bay (1 hour +) arriving at Plettenberg Bay Central Beach Hopwood Centre. Here, a representative of Ocean Safaris will meet you. After signing indemnity forms, walk across to the beach. Everyone gets a wetsuit and a life jacket issued to him or her. 12:30 pm depart for 2-hour ocean safari seeing whales, huge shoals of dolphins, porpoises, seals, sharks, possibly turtles and a range of seabirds. It is a very stable craft so there is no possibility of getting sick! Back to the beach Drive to Look-Out Deck for seafood lunch in a stunning setting overlooking Keurbooms Lagoon, the beach and the Formosa Mountains. Depart back to Karatara by 20:00pm.

Iguazu Falls, BrazilADDO ELEPHANT PARK
Friday 21st November, 5am – 9pm
05:00 Depart Karatara by bus and travel to far side of Port Elizabeth to Addo Elephant Park (+ 4 hours) On arrival, get something to eat at the curio/snack shop. Then take a day game watching and hopefully, see a range of animals including lion, elephant, giraffe, various antelope, buffalo, various birds and a range of eco-systems. Very late lunch back at the entrance departing at 16:00pm Arrive back at Karatara by 21:00 pm
