The aim is to grow premium quality grafted Mangoes.
These have the same resistance to local conditions as the
local varieties but fetch a substantially higher price on
the market.
There's no place on earth where a tree will receive more loving
care and attention than in a school with hundreds of students.
After carefully raising the trees, students begin harvesting
and selling the fruit. Whilst students hone their entrepreneurial
skills, the income generated is reinvested into the schools
to purchase educational materials and improve school
facilities. A small percentage of profits cover the running
costs of the project.
